SM Entertainment is reportedly planning to debut a new group. Lee Soo Man, the head of SM Entertainment, is allegedly staying in China until the end of the month to prepare for the group’s debut.
Lee Soo Man submitted an explanatory statement on October 16th, in which he states he will be unable to be a non-expert witness for an audit held by the State Affairs Committee and the Korean Fair Trade Commission. He claimed he is on a business trip with the goals of promoting and preparing a new artist debut.
People have not reacted well to the news, with many criticizing the company’s ability to protect their artists from cyberbullying. Many are calling out Lee Soo Man, saying that he should focus on his artist and their mental health before debuting a new group.
