While BLACKPINK‘s Rosé made a splash with her appearance at the Met Gala, she wasn’t the only one to grace the Met with her beauty. CL also made an appearance at the Gala, making her and Rosé the first female K-Pop stars to attend ever.
While Rosé went for an understated rocker-chic vibe in a black mini dress and ruffled ponytail, CL placed emphasis on her Asian roots with her hair and dress. The hair seems to be inspired by olden days while her outfit was also reminiscent of a hanbok.
If you look closely, the knot that holds the cloth together at the center of her chest is tied in the traditional Korean way, as you can see on many hanboks. This is known as otkoreum, or koreum.
She went for a bold look with only briefs under the ensemble. The outfit was made by Alexander Wang.
She updated the look with jelly heels and an understated black gem choker. Topping it off are her signature smoky eyes and nude lips.
She looks absolutely stunning! The appearance also shocked many as there were no hints of her attendance. Slay it, queen!
