For some members, such as RM, it was their first ever tattoo, and he was the first to debut his friendship tattoo.
So, in a recent live broadcast, he recounted the experience of getting it to ARMY.
RM explained that the whole process took around twoish hours. First, they stamped the design, and he likened it to a rehearsal.
It got me like two hours to … before we have a tattoo, we have to stamp ’cause … it’s like a rehearsal. We just stamp, print the font, stamp all over the body, and then, you know, see how it goes.
They also took time to decide on a font (the members got different ones) and the position of it.
It took like two hours for the stamp and to decide the font, the position of the tattoo, but…
What surprised him most was that the process of actually getting his ink was only a couple of minutes! So, he prepared for two hours for something that was done in like two minutes!
It only took me two damn minutes to have an actual tattoo on my ankle.
He explained that since it’s a tiny “7,” it is really just two connecting lines. So, the artist did one small line, then another, and done.
So, it was like ’cause it’s seven. You got only two lines. It’s like one, ‘Oh, ouch,’ and then one, ‘Oh, ouch,’ and then it’s over so…
Still, RM is pleased with his decision to get the tattoo as it has great meaning and symbolizes his bond with the BTS members.
I just … still can’t believe that I actually got a real tattoo on my body.
