Can you judge a book by its cover? Australian “people reader” Alan Stevens has it down to a science. He believes that a person’s facial features hold clues about their true personality. Here’s what BTS J-Hope‘s face says about him, based on Stevens’ criteria.
People with faces that are less than 60% as wide as they are long tend to be cautious by nature. Those with wider faces (70%+ as wide) are usually highly confident.
J-Hope’s facial proportions indicate that he is a “look before you leap” type who approaches life with a healthy level of caution.
Is friendliness measured with a smile? Stevens believes it is indicated by the distance between the top of the eye to the eyebrow. People with lower brows, like J-Hope, are open and friendly. Those with higher set brows aren’t necessarily unfriendly, but they usually like their personal space more.
People with wider-set eyes, like J-Hope, are more tolerant of other people’s errors, whereas people with closer-set eyes are less patient by comparison.
4. Sense of Humor
Check the mirror. If you have a sarcastic, dry sense of humor, you might have a long philtrum. According to Stevens, people with shorter philtrums are more likely to be no-nonsense types.
It’s no surprise that this comedy king falls into the first category.
If eyes are the windows to the soul, lips are the windows to the heart. People with full upper lips, like J-Hope, are more generous with their words and actions. Those with thinner upper lips are usually quiet, concise individuals.
Thin eyelid folds or no eyelid folds indicate a “decisive” and “action-driven” person. People with thicker eyelid folds are more “analytical.”
According to these criteria, J-Hope falls somewhere in the middle.
The color and depth of the eyes goes hand in hand with their personal magnetism. People with “deeper-coloured eyes” like J-Hope are known to be charismatic people who draw in friends and admirers.
